The invention relates to a continuous transporter serving as a bulk material conveyor. The continuous transporter comprises at least one flexible conveyor belt (1) that endlessly rotates between two tail stations (2) and that forms a load strand and a return strand. The conveyor belt is provided with guide elements on the edges thereof. At least sections of the conveyor belt are guided in a hanging manner by means of said guide elements. The tensile forces and driving forces are inserted into the conveyor belt (1) on the edges thereof by means of several drive devices that are arranged along the conveying path. Said forces serve for rotating the conveyor belt (1). The inventive continuous transporter is characterised in that slide rails (8) are provided as guide elements. Said slide rails (8) are formed by segments (7) which are articulated to one another. The articulation moveability of the segments (7) is limited at least against a reversing direction in such a manner that the slide rails (8) are rigid at least in said direction. |
