PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the miniaturization and cort reduction of the system by connecting a control unit and a functioned unit without through a mother board. SOLUTION: On the side face of the unit case of a control unit 1 housing a control unit substrate 2 which controls a key telephone system, an inter-unit connector 3 which is used for connecting a functional unit substrate 5 to the control unit substrate 2 is provided. In addition, on the side face of the unit case of a functional unit 4 housing the functional unit substrate 5 which makes the function of the key telephone system realizable, another inter-unit connector 6 which is used for connecting the control unit substrate 2 of the control unit 1 or the functional unit substrate 5 of another functional unit 4 is provided.
