PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distinctly recognize an animation till it ends when it is displayed with respect to radio communication equipment provided with a liquid crystal display and a back light. SOLUTION: When a key for displaying the animation on the liquid crystal display is operated ('yes' in a step S2), a control part turns off the back light (step S7) after the animation is ended ('yes' in the step S5). During the display of the animation, the animation under display is illuminated by the back light so that the user distinctly recognizes it till it ends.
