PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the LCD(liquid crystal display) of a video camera to make self-adjustment. SOLUTION: When the input section 34 of a video camera is operated, the adjustment mode of the camera is turned on. Then a microcomputer 12 turns on an A/D conversion board 71 and commands the digital signal processor(DSP) 13 of a video processing system to display an adjustment picture. The adjustment picture is outputted to an RGB conversion processing section 22. The section 22 performs RGB conversion on received signals and outputs the RGB- converted signals to an LCD panel 33 and the A/D conversion board 71. The board 71 digitizes the input signals and outputs the digital signals to the microcomputer 12 and an electronic volume section 21 for adjustment is adjusted based on the digital signals. On the other hand, the picture data photographed by means of an LCD panel photographing camera 2 and displayed on the LCD panel 33 are inputted to the DSP 13 of the video processing system. The DSP 13 outputs the picture data to the microcomputer 12 and the microcomputer 12 adjusts the white balance by controlling the DSP 13.
