PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow display in a map on a screen by connecting a modem to a commercial portable navigation, used as a special device, providing a mobile body with a unique portable unit, and searching the position of a mobile body on the screen of the special device. SOLUTION: A modem which is uniquely developed is connected to a commercial portable navigation which is used as a special device, and a mobile body is provided with a portable unit which is uniquely developed. The portable unit comprises a GPS antenna, repeater, and portable telephone, and the position of mobile body is searched and displayed on the map on a display of the special device by utilizing a communication system. When no GPS is received. The CPU of the portable unit allows searching/displaying of a position history memory on the screen of the special device. A CCD camera is provided at a place to be viewed and its signal is displayed on the screen of the special device by using the portable unit which is uniquely developed. A commercial software comprising accumulated information is used for position display, with a communication speed about 9600-12800 bps. |
