PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to perform a comfortable operation without changing the arrangement of the operation commands of plural operating members when electronic equipment is set in either a reference attitude or a rotational attitude, or without changing operations allocated to the plural operating members when the electronic equipment is set in either a reference attitude or a rotational attitude. SOLUTION: In this electronic equipment, a first operating member 9 to a fourth operating member 12 are arranged in a control panel 7 equipped with a CD driver part 8, a first index part 9a to a first index part 12a are arranged at each upper part, and a second index part 9b to a second index part 12b are arranged at each left part. Functioning operations allocated to the first operating member 9 to the fourth operating member 12 are controlled so that the same array can be obtained when the control panel is set in either a reference attitude or a rotational attitude. Afterwards, display allocated to the first index part 9a to the first index part 12a and the second index part 9b to the second index part 12b is controlled so that the same array can be obtained when the control panel 1 is set in either the reference attitude or the rotational attitude.
