PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor which can easily and accurately move some area of document information by selecting an area in the document information, specifying a position on a ruler, and moving the selected area according to the specified position on the ruler. SOLUTION: The processor processes the document information consisting of an address and a name presented on a postal card and to move the area 13 wherein the address is presented, the area 13 is moved up and down in parallel once a point 14 on a longitudinal ruler 12 is specified when the area 13 is in a movement state. At this time, the distance of the movement may be the distance of movement to the position of the point 14 on the basis of the position of the upper side of the area 13. Namely, some position in the area 13 is only set as a reference point in advance and this reference position may be displayed on rulers 11 and 12. Thus, the area 13 can accurately be moved since the rules 11 and 12 having graduations indicating the position of the document information are used. |
