<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transformer which suppresses the peak value of a primary-side AC current and reduces higher harmonic components, even when it is used as the power source of a capacitor input type rectifying circuit. SOLUTION: One or more magnetic bodies A4 are mounted, covering an external coil at an exposed part from the EI iron core 3 of the power transformer 10 and form magnetic paths by themselves. Leakage magnetic flux of those magnetic paths give the same function with the addition of reactors in series with the secondary coil 2 of the power transformer 10. The power transformer 10 having those virtual reactors is used to enable even a capacitor input type, to operate equivalently to a choke input type rectifying circuit.</p> |
