<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours for assembling and adjusting work by simplifying structure, thereby reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal projector is provided with an image forming optical system having a projection lens 7 and a light multiplexing prism 6. The projector is also provided with liquid crystal panels 1a, 1b and 1c arranged at the object position of the image forming optical system, a fitting member 4 for fitting the panels 1a, 1b and 1c to the prism 6 and a wedge-like spacer member 5 for adjusting the positions of the panels 1a, 1b and 1c in both directions being the plane surface direction and the direction orthogonally crossed to it. Then, the panels 1a, 1b and 1c are fixed to the prism 6 through the fitting member 4 and the spacer member 5.</p> |
