<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the re-reception of unnecessary data by preserving communication data in a non-volatile memory, displaying preserved communication data after communication is interrupted when a battery cover is opened and selecting whether reception is to be executed again or not when the opening of the battery cover is restored. SOLUTION: Received mail data from a PHS antenna 34 is taken into a main CPU block 1 in a packet unit of through a PHS module 3 and it is written into a flash memory. When a battery cover is opened during reception, attachment/detachment detection SW 21 detects it and communication is stopped by a PHS module 3 through the main CPU block 1. The main CPU block 1 inspects the presence or absence of the data terminator of received data. When it is absent, data preserved in the flash memory is displayed on a color LCD display 5. An operator checks the contents of data and sets re-reception by a key 27 when re-reception is judged to be executed. When the battery cover is restored, re-reception is executed.</p> |
