PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of an intermediate transfer body system capable of obtaining an image of good quality by reducing a color slippage regardless of the size of transfer material. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device, the maximum transfer material size capable of forming image is A3, the circumferential length of the intermediate transfer drum 14 is about 500 mm, as for the image for a small-sized transfer material, the 1st image is formed in an area from the reference position of the transfer drum, that is, in an area of 0 to 140 mm, and the 2nd image is formed in an area of 250 to 390 mm away from the reference position at the nearly central part of an intermediate transfer drum. Under this condition, the drastic slippage of yellow in the front half area in the circumferential direction of the intermediate transfer drum is generated in a positive direction in a conventional manner, then, the correction value of the image data for writing the image on the photoreceptor drum is previously set in the device, the then, only the yellow is shifted in a negative direction by the amount of one dot, as for the 1st image formed in the front half area of the intermediate transfer drum. |
