PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION AND PHOTOSENSITIVE PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition excellent in resolution, developability, adhesion and shelf stability, capable of direct patterning with IR and capable of handling in a light room by incorporating a specified IR absorbing dye and a specified ethylenically unsaturated double bond. SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains an ethylenically unsaturated double bond compound, an IR absorbing dye and a polymerization initiator. A (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl-containing amine compound and/or a (meth) acryloyloxyalkyl-containing phosphate compound is contained as the ethylenically unsaturated double bond compound and a phthalocyanine compound is contained as the IR absorbing dye. The photosensitive composition has selectively high sensitivity to IR and safety to a white light. The adhesion of a formed photosensitive layer does not undergo a change with the lapse of time and the occurrence of defects in printing such as surface stain is prevented.
