Simulation tool has a metal electrode (8) at the bottom of a non-conducting housing (3, 4) on the inside of which is an elastic rubber material (2) with a notch (1) for support of surgical instruments such as the tip of an instrument for computer assisted neuro-surgery also known as a navigation pointer or a stylus.
