Omnidirectional or sectorial emissions are provided in a network of radioelectric links radiated by base stations. User terminals are provided with directional antennae which can be pointed at said base stations. A CDMA mode is an encoding mode for the symbols that are to be emitted before modulation by a carrier. Some user terminals are located in unfavorable zones of said network where they receive parasitic emissions from other base stations that are aligned in the direction in which they are pointed. In order to avoid negative effects of said parasitic emissions, the signals directed at said user terminals are encoded with double-length coding sequences. A transmission quality factor amounting to as much as 3dB can be gained by means of said redundancy. The quality is further increased if the length is also increased. |
