PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate complexity in operation by inserting a battery pack fixed to the rear face of a telephone set body from the side face of the telephone set body so as to fix a display part and its operation switch to the entire face of the rear face of the telephone set body. SOLUTION: This telephone set is provided with a portable telephone set body 1, a display part 2, a display operation switch 3 and the insertion port 4 of a battery pack 5. In this portable telephone set, the pack 5 fixed to the rear face of the telephone set body is inserted from the side face of the telephone set body 1 to be mounted to the inside. Thus, a space is secured on the rear face of the telephone set body 1 to fix the part 2 and the switch 3 to the entire face of the rear face of the telephone set body 1. Since the various functions are aggregated and added to a present portable telephone set and an information quantity to deal with is remarkably increased, the display part on a telephone set body operation face is not capable of displaying all of the information and operation becomes complicated such as switching and displaying a picture, etc., as the result. However, this telephone equipment eliminates such complexity.
