PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of hardware by converting the reception signals of plural carrier frequency bands, which are received by plural antennas installed in a radio base station, into base bands, storing them in a buffer memory and allocating a channel for the demodulation processing of a base band reception signal to a modulation/demodulation processing means. SOLUTION: The reception signals of base bands, which are stored in buffer memory 803-1, multiplex data of the whole channels of whole mobile stations in a service area. They are repetitively read and demodulated in a signal processing part 830. Thus, a hardware scale is reduced and a demodulation processing making the use of the arithmetic processing speed of LSI is executed. The signal processing part 830 repetitively modulates transmission data and a generated transmission signal of the base band is stored in the buffer memory 803-1 at every sector. The transmission signals are combined as the transmission signal of whole LSI of the base station in an output combining part 807 and is transmitted from an antenna 800-1.
