PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly, accurately sense a temperature state of a heater itself by incorporating a case member for containing a base and a heating member in a heating portion, and disposing a temperature sensing means at an outside face of the member. SOLUTION: A base is filled in a bottom of a case member 70 of a box. A heating member is placed on an upper portion of the base. The base is desirably constituted of, for example, a microporous heat insulator. A thermistor 18 is provided near a heating chamber, and can control a microwave oven based on a sensing temperature of the thermistor 18. The thermistor 18 is preferably mounted on an outer surface of the member 70. In this case, the thermistor 18 senses a temperature near the heater. An electric constitution of the oven is altered as predetermined. Thus, when the temperature near the heater arrives at a predetermined temperature (e.g. 150 deg.C), heating of the heater in the oven is stopped.
