PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a tightening operation by slight force by inclining a side edge on a rear end part side of a tightening operating ring so as to gradually increase a semi-circular ring groove width of a bearing hole of the tightening operating ring from a required spot on one side semicircle part side of the tightening operating ring between each hook stop pawl to a center spot of the other side semicircle part. SOLUTION: A side edge on a rear end side of a tightening operating ring 2 is inclined to slight inclination of about 2 deg. so as to increase the groove width from spots P, Q on one side semicircle part S side of the tightening operating ring 2 between each hook stop pawl 3, 3 to a center spot m' of a semicircle part S' on the other side. Therefore, backlash of a bearing ball 10 is increased in a ring mechanism 9 on one side semicircle part S' side increasing the groove width. By inclining the tightening operating ring 2 in a tip direction of the tightening operating ring 2 for fitting cylinders 1 with a spot P, Q, or M as a center when the fitting cylinders 1, 1 are joined each other, a position of a sliding contact surface 4b of each hook stop pawl 3, 3 is displaced to a tip front of the tightening operating ring 2, space between the position and a rear surface of a wedge projecting streak is increased and a tightening operation is smoothed and facilitated.
