Active noise suppression in hydraulic unit of motor vehicle by controlling vibration of actuator to compensate for other sources of vibration

The hydraulic unit includes at least one actuator which is driven by a control device to influence a fluid flow. The control device drives the actuator to produce a certain compensation vibration. The vibration may be controlled to compensate for another vibration source. The hydraulic unit may have multiple actuators, at least one of which is controlled to compensate for vibration caused by the others. The resultant noise may be detected and used to determine a correction signal to generate control signals for the actuator(s).
