PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a platinum-based alloy electrode material which is capable of improving a platinum electrode used as an electrode of a capacitor in thermal resistance, preventing oxygen from diffusing through grain boundaries, and obtaining a stable dielectric crystal. SOLUTION: A platinum-based allot contains one or more elements selected from an element group composed of scandium(Sc), yttrium(Y), lanthanum(La), cerium(Ce), praeodymium(Pr), neodymium(Nd), europium(Eu), gadolinium(Gd), terbium(Tb), dysprosium(Dy), holmium(Ho), erbium(Er), thulium(Tm), ytterbium(Yb), lutetium(Lu), zirconium(Zr), and hafnium(Hf), where the ratio of the number of platinum atoms to the total number of atoms of the selected elements is set at 1000:1 to 16:1, and the oxides of the elements are uniformly diffused into platinum, and the electrode of a capacitor is formed of the above platinum- based alloy. |
