TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR SETTING COMMUNICATION CHANNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user using a terminal from mis-setting a type of a communication channel. SOLUTION: A user uses the terminal 5 to set a type of a communication channel and to make dialing processing. When no line connection is made through the dialing processing, an output means 17 informs the user about mis-setting of the type of the communication channel so as to allow the user to easily recognize mis-setting of the type of the communication channel thereby preventing mis-setting of the type of the communication channel by the user.
