PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor of superior assembling accuracy and productivity, wherein large capacity is contained efficiently. SOLUTION: An anode lead-out wire 12 formed of a tantalum wire is so buried that one end part of the anode lead-out wire 12 is exposed, and further a dielectric oxide film, a solid electrolyte layer and a cathode layer 13 are laminated in this order on a surface of a porous anode body, that is obtained by molding and sintering tantalum metal powder acting as valve-acting metal and a part of the anode lead-out wire 12, thereby a capacitor element 11 is formed. In the capacitor element, the anode lead-out wire 12 and the cathode layer 13 are connected to an anode terminal 14a and a cathode terminal 14b of an anode-cathode common terminal 14, respectively. After packaging with packaging resin 17, the anode-cathode common terminal 14 is cut into prescribed dimensions and form at a notch part 16 on the anode side, to form the separated anode terminal 14a and the cathode terminal 14b.
