PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device and an image forming device which have a long life, by keeping an adequate amount of heat resistant grease. SOLUTION: This image-heating device is constituted so that an image on a recording material is heated by passing the recording material between heating nips formed by connecting a heating member 9 and a pressurizing member with pressure. The heating member 9 comprises a heater 25 for heating having a current-carrying heating resistor, a film 14 whose one surface slides with this heater 25 and the other surface abuts to the recording material and moves together, and a support member for supporting it. A groove 26 for holding a heat resistant grease for securing the film slidability is provided in a film sliding surface on this support member.
