TRAFFIC SIGNAL FOR ALTERNATE PASSAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal for alternate passage which doesn't require leading-in of power from the outside of the traffic signal and doesn't require wired or radio communication at the time of synchronizing plural traffic signals which control the traffic in an alternate passage section. SOLUTION: This traffic signal for alternate passage is provided with a red lamp 2 and a green lamp 3 which are to be indexes of safety for entrance to the alternate passage section, a controller 4 which causes the red lamp 2 and the green lamp 3 to perform the signal operation at the time of traffic control, and an independent power supply device, and the controller 4 is provided with a timer which triggers the entrance side signal operation or the leaving side signal operation on the basis of an allowable time X of entrance to the alternate passage section and a time Y required for passage in the alternate passage section.
