PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply power as designed while limiting the minimum value of the transmission cycle of a driver within an easily predicable range even when a current limiting means is operated by synchronizing timing to turn off the driver by the current limiting means to a reference clock and shortening the cycle of the reference clock rather than time for raising a load current from 0 A to a current limit setting value. SOLUTION: When the load current of a motor 8 exceeds the current limit setting value, a load current detecting means 9 validates an over current detecting signal. A current limiting means 10 latches the state of the over current detecting signal synchronously with a reference clock 1, when the load current of the motor 8 starts decreasing and gets smaller than the current limit setting value, the off signal of the driver 6 is invalidated and the load current of the motor 8 starts increasing. Since the cycle of the reference clock 1 is made shorter than time for raising the load current of the motor 8 from 0A to the current limit setting value, the load current of the motor 8 is not decreased to 0A.
