PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-sized signboard device which is a large-sized signboard device of a simple system without requiring a high installation cost and allows the easy, smooth and safe change of displays, such as figures, on the ground without using a scaffold, such as a ladder. SOLUTION: The large-sized signboard device 1 which is installed near the entrance and outlet of a gas station and other stores and displays the desired characters, such as a store name, handling merchandise names and merchandise costs, is provided with a mounting section 2 freely attachably and detachably fitted with the plural displays 3 to make display at a relatively high place of the large-sized signboard device. Fitting channels 6 and 7 are formed one above the other in the mounting section 2 so as to face each other. The plural displays 3 are fitted into these fitting channels 6 and 7 and are made freely slidable. The one end side of the mounting section 2 is formed to a closing part 8 and simultaneously the other end side is opened. The fitting channel 7 existing on the lower side is extended outward to form an inlet section 10. The displays 3 are made freely positionably by the inlet section 10 at the time of fitting of the displays to the mounting section 2.
