PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processing device capable of image display having uniform lightness without brightness irregularities and color irregularities, in an image display device in which a liquid crystal panel is used as an optical shutter. SOLUTION: Selectors 21, 22 select a horizontal offset value Hi supplied from a horizontal offset value input terminal Thof and a vertical offset value Vj supplied from a vertical offset value input terminal Tvof respectively, by high-rank three bit signals of a horizontal discrete value HC and a vertical discrete value VC introduced respectively from a horizontal discrete value input terminal Thc and a vertical discrete value input terminal Tvc, and both offset values are added by an adder 23. And, the added value is outputted to an adder 8 as an offset signal OF by an offset generating circuit 2, and is added by a dither pattern signal DP outputted from a dither pattern generating circuit 1 used in multi-gradation display and outputted to an adder 9, and is added by an image signal IM supplied to an image signal input terminal Tin and outputted from a display image signal output terminal Tid as a display image signal ID.
