PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory space to be consumed for the download of a control program by re-writing a control program which is stored in an internal memory in accordance with the control program which is stored in an external memory. SOLUTION: A data processor 1 is constituted of a CPU 2, a RAM 3, an operation display part 4, an internal FROM, a band selecting signal generating part 6, a memory space control part 7 and a system bus 8. Then the CPU 2 started from the side of a flash card collectively eliminates the storage contents of an internal FROM 5, performs bank-access to the flash card by the class of a prescribed address and a chip select bank selecting signal and reads the control program. In the meantime, the internal FROM 5 is bank- accessed by the class of the prescribed address and the chip select bank selecting signal and a processing for writing the control program which is read from the flash card is repeated till the re-writing of the control program is completed.
