PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce battery consumption by limiting the timing of select a channel when an outgoing signal periodically transmitted from a base station cannot be received. SOLUTION: When a prescribed start pattern ST is detected during a period TL (time for receiving a signal), a receiving window 4 is disconnected, a signal receiving switch 8 is triggered from a pattern match circuit 7 and a received signal is inputted to a receiving circuit 9. With the end of reception, the power source of a receiving part 1 is turned off for economizing a battery. When the prescribed start pattern ST is not detected during the period TL or a signal received by the receiving circuit 9 is not a prescribed signal, a channel waited to the moment is designated and the power source of the receiving part 1 is turned off up to the timeout of a TL timer 5. With the timeout of the TL timer 5, the power source of the receiving part 1 is turned on again. When a reception level is low or when the prescribed start pattern can not be detected, the same or other channel is designated again. |
