PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control the power source of a portable telephone so that the portable telephone can be inhibited from originating and terminating a call at a place where it is undesirable to utilize the portable telephone. SOLUTION: The portable telephone is composed of an antenna part 45 for receiving radio signals 11 and 12, a received signal discriminating part 42 for generating a signal 56 for discriminating stop or start in the receiving order of the radio signals 11 and 12, a power source control circuit part 43 for outputting a constant power signal 57 controlled by the discriminating signal 56, a transmitting circuit part 44 and a receiving circuit part 46 to be operated by the constant power signal 57. |
