PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter-receiver in common use for single core two-way and two-core two-way that is made correspondent to a single-core 2-way optical communication network and a 2-core 2-way optical communication network. SOLUTION: The optical transmitter-receiver 30 in common use for single core two-way and two-core two-way is provided with a 1st port 32 to which a connection termination of an optical fiber of a single-core 2-way optical communication network or a transmission connection termination of an optical fiber of a two-core 2-way optical communication network is inserted, a 2nd port 33 to which a reception connection termination of an optical fiber of a two-core 2-way optical communication network is inserted, a light emitting element 36 and a 1st light receiving element 37 which are placed in the 1st port corresponding to the connection termination of the inserted optical fiber and a 2nd light receiving element 38 placed in the 2nd port corresponding to the connection termination of the insertion optical fiber. |
