PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a vibration and noise due to Karman vortex generated by a rod body, concerning a measuring apparatus in fluid. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus a1 in fluid is equipped with a measuring means 2 and a rod body 3 which has an almost shaft form and protects the measuring means 2. The rod body 3 is inserted into inside a duct 1, and arranged almost perpendicularly to the flow of fluid in the duct 1. The measuring means 2 is installed along the rod body 3. Thus the measuring means 2 is made possible to come into contact with the fluid in the duct 1. The outer peripheral surface of the part facing the inside of the duct 1 in the rod body 3 is tapered to be an almost conical form. Thereby, Karman vortex is prevented from being generated with a constant period in the downstream side of the rod body 3, so that vibration and noise are reduced.
