PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform editing while considering a flow or time distribution by supporting editing work including trial and error when a cameraman gathering news is to perform editing on the job site. SOLUTION: When a capture button 112 is clicked, still pictures 121A, 121B, 121C... of a video reproduced from a VTR are fetched and preserved and at such a time, time codes 123A, 123B, 123C... are preserved corresponding to the still pictures. Therefore, by clicking the capture button 112 in a scene to be a key at the time of editing, a list picture 162 of still pictures in the key scene and the time codes at that time can be prepared. By referring to this list picture 102, editing work can be efficiently performed. By drag and drop, the still pictures and the time codes displayed on the list picture 102 can be rearranged or deleted. Thus, edited contents can be visually confirmed and efficiency in editing can be improved.
