PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minify the size along the axial direction of an input shaft by using only one rolling bearing when an output gear is supported turnably on a casing and miniaturize its device. SOLUTION: A toroidal type continuously variable transmission 30 is provided with a casing 4, an input shaft 1, a pair of input disks 2a, 2b, a pair of output disks 3a, 3b, an output gear 34 and a three point contact ball bearing 41. The input shaft 1 and input disks 2a, 2b are rotated by a drive source E. The output disks 3a, 3b are arranged in the state faced the back surfaces 5a, 5b mutually. The output gear 34 is arranged between the output disks 3a, 3b. The output gear 34 and output disks 3a, 3b are rotated in an interlocked manner. The output gear 34 is supported turnably in the casing 4 by a single three point contact ball bearing 41 provided with an inner ring, outer ring 43, balls 44 and a cage 45. The inner ring is provided with first/second annular members 46, 47.
