PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient shopping environment to a customer by transmitting registration information on a guidance desired commodity inputted from a portable information terminal by the customer to a main body system and permitting the main body system to transmit the display place of the guidance desired commodity on guidance desired commodity registration information to the portable information terminal as guidance information to the portable information terminal. SOLUTION: A system is constituted of a main body system A and a portable information terminals B. The main body system A is fixedly provided in a store and the plural portable information terminals B to which individual unit numbers are allocated are installed. The terminals are lent to respective customers and they move in the store. Guidance information with which the customer is guided by a radio wave emitted from the main body system A and commodity information of the respective commodities are displayed on the portable information terminals B. A guidance desired commodity input device 1 is installed at the entrance of the store and the commodity being an object for recognizing the display place, namely, the guidance desired commodity whose recognition of the display place is desired by the customer is registered in the device 1.
