PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which makes it easy to read a Japanese electronic book by determining choices for each area information according to area selection information when the arrangement of document information is determined according to a display area. SOLUTION: When an indication for display is inputted through an indicating means 5, contents information, format information, and separation inhibition information are read in a read-in part of a read-in means 8 from a storage part 9 of a storage means 4 and those pieces of information are passed to an arrangement determination part of an arrangement determining means 6. Further, the size of the display area on a display means 2 is passed to an arrangement determination part of the arrangement determining means 6. Further, the area selection information read in the read-in part of the read-in means 8 is passed to a selection determination part of a selection determining means 7 and the selection determination part of the selection determining means 7 passes information on the selected area to an arrangement determination part of the arrangement determining means 6. The arrangement determining means 6 determines area arrangement matching with the size of a current display area according to the passed information. |
