A die-stamping method wherein a sheet of metal (T) is stamped between a die (10) and a punch (4) which is enclosed by a front (AV) and rear (AR) clamp frame, characterized in that the rear clamp frame (AR) is enlarged towards the rear in comparison with the dimensions of prior art and has a curved shape on the end which is adjacent to the punch (4) (i.e. the front (AV) end of the rear clamp frame (AR)), whereby said curved shape is formed in such a way that it enables progressive deformation of the depth of the sheet of metal and along the top of the clamp frame instead of the right angle of the clamp frames as per prior art.
