<p>A packaging cutter (100) for the safe and effective perforation of packaging materials on package or other containers comprises a body (102) and a cutting mechanism (112) housed within the body (102). The body (102) comprises two side walls (106, 108) and a top wall (110) defining an interior volume (104) in which the packaged container is positioned during the cutting process. The cutting mechanism (112) is mounted in or to the top wall (110). The packaging cutter (100) also comprises a depth setting mechanism (320) to prevent cutting of the package or container itself.</p> |
