The printer has a paper feeder (16) with saddle-shaped or roof-shaped upper (34) and lower (36) parts that together form a channel with an inlet and an outlet. The lower part is removably attached to the upper part, slides in slots in the upper part and has shoulders that fit lugs in the upper part. Independent claims are also included for a paper feeder, for a paper feed method, for paper jam cleaning and removing methods, for a method of removing a paper feeder and for a paper dispenser.
