<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer for developing electrostatic charge not melt- attaching to the layer-regulating member of a developing device and freed of a fog and scattering. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge developing developer has a distribution of a deformed degree Ps defined by formula I:Ps=RI/Rs (RI is the radius of the minimum circum-scribed circle of toner particles, Rs is the radius of the maximum circumscribed circle of the toner particles), and the maximum frequency exists in the range of 1.1-1.4 and the toner particles having a Ps of >=1.4 exist in an amount of 10-19 number % of the total toner particles and the toner particles have a form coefficient of 0.65-1.0 defined by formula II: Sf=4πS/I2 in which S is the projection areas of the toner particle, and I is its peripheral length.</p> |
