PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to guide liquid collected in a closed type vegetable container to a drain pan situated at the outside of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a box body 1 consisting of an outer box 2, an inner box 3 and a foamed heat insulation material 4 with which a gap between the outer and inner boxes is filled, a deep freezer chamber 5 and refrigerating chamber 6 partitioned from each other in the box body 1, a vegetable chamber 7 situated at the lower part of the refrigerating chamber, a vegetable container 8 situated longitudinally insertably in the vegetable chamber and an upper surface being opened and having a drain hole 9 formed in a bottom, a shield body 10 to shield the upper surface of the vegetable chamber 8, a water guide hole 11 positioned facing the drain hole 9 and formed in the bottom of the vegetable chamber 8, and a drain pan 12 installed at the lower part of the water guide hole 11.
