PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow manufacturing to cope with subminiaturization and to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: A surface mount crystal vibrator consists of a frame 1, a bottom plate 4 fitted and fixed to the inside of the frame 1, a crystal vibrator plate 3, and an upper plate 2. The frame 1 is made of a crystal and the inside is gradually narrowed from an upper opening 1a toward a rectangular lower opening 1b and the inner wall forms a slope. Lead-out electrodes 11, 12 are formed from a middle part of the inner wall to an outer wall via the lower opening 1b.
