PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device improved in the exchangeability of a transfer roller and the cleaning workability of components on the transfer roller periphery. SOLUTION: In this image forming device provided with an image carrier 3 holding an electrostatic latent image, a developing device 17 developing the latent image on the image carrier 3 and a transfer roller 9 transferring the developed toner image on a sheet S, the device equipping the transfer roller holder 30, holding the transfer roller 9 and pressurizing to the image carrier 3, is constituted in such a manner that the transfer roller 9 and the transfer roller holder 30 as the transfer roller unit are attachable and detachable with regard to the device main body.
