<p>A recording method, wherein the surface, on a recording medium side, of a master information carrier is kept curved inwardly from the outer periphery thereof toward the center when overlapping the master information carrier on the recording medium, and then the carrier is fitted closely to the recording medium after the overlapping, thereby transfer-recording information signals onto the recording medium. This recording method finds a wide range of applications in producing pits-made disks such as magnetic disks, magneto-optical disks and optical disks, and can record high-density information signals onto disks, which are excellent in flatness and smoothness and clean on the surface, in a short time and with a satisfactory productivity, as well as uniformly and constantly over the entire surface of magnetic recording media.</p> |
