PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high image quality image forming device where thinning of lateral line and a void in the end, etc., are not generated and furthermore, a void in an isolated dot image caused by uneven abutting of a magnetic brush or carrier sticking are not generated. SOLUTION: This image forming device is constituted so that developing is carried out by the magnetic brush which is formed on a developer sleeve 11 by a magnetic field formed by a magnet roll and brought into contact with a photoreceptor drum 1. In this case, the magnetic brush is not brought into contact with the photoreceptor drum 1 in a range that is on the downstream side in a rotating direction of the photoreceptor drum 1 from a part where the photoreceptor drum 1 and the developing sleeve 11 are brought closest to each other. |
