PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanner for non-contact identification data communication capable of widening the read/write area of identification data to a data carrier and reading/writing the identification data without trouble. SOLUTION: The scanner for non-contact identification data communication for reading/writing the identification data by performing the communication of electromagnetic waves to the data carrier holding the identification data, is provided with plural antennas 2 and an antenna switching part 3 for switching the respective antennas 2 into communicable state. By using the plural antennas 2, the read/write area of the identification data to the data carrier can be widened.
