PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally constitute a bipolar pulse drive circuit using elements, whose quantity is fewer than that in conventional cases. SOLUTION: The positive side of a DC power supply is connected to a circuit point A, and the negative side is connected to a circuit point D. One end of a load is connected to a circuit point B, and the other end is connected to a circuit point C. A PNP transistor Q1 is connected across the circuit point A and the circuit point B in the forward direction of the power supply. A PNP transistor Q2 is connected across the circuit point A and the circuit point C in the forward direction of the power supply. A diode D1 and an NPN transistor Q3 are connected in this order across the circuit point C and the circuit point D in the forward direction of the power supply. A diode D2 and an NPN transistor Q4 are connected in this order across the circuit point B and the circuit point D in the forward direction of the power supply. The base of the transistor Q1 and the collector of the transistor Q3 are connected by a diode D3 in the forward direction of a base current. The base of the transistor Q2 and the collector of the transistor Q4 are connected by a diode D4 in the forward direction of the base current, when drive pulses, whose phases are opposite to each other, are applied to the base of the transistor Q3 and the base of the transistor Q4, a complementary drive circuit which drives the transistor Q3 and the transistor Q4 so as to be turned on and off in a complementary manner is obtained. |
