PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of spectral characteristics caused by lowering of the transmissivity of a color filter by carbonization reaction, by using an organic polymer compound characterized in that the value of difference between the number of abscission in the principal chan and the number of crosslinking is not less than a specific value. SOLUTION: The heat resistant color filter composed of an inorganic pigment and glass is produced by forming a pattern on a transparent substrate and then heating the pattern at an elevated temp. in order to decompose an organic polymer compound. At this time, a resin composition for the heat resistant color filter, containing, as main components, inorganic pigments, low melting glass and the organic polymer compound, is used. The number of abscission in the principal chan and the number of crosslinking generated by absorbing radiation of 100 eV per 1 g of the organic polymer compound are set to be Gs and Gx, respectively, and the difference(Gs-Gx) between the number of abscission in the principal chan and the number of crosslinking is set to be G. The organic polymer compound having the G value of >=1 is preferably used. Thereby, the resin composition for the heat resistant color filter free from deterioration in spectroscopic characteristics can be obtained. |
