PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an image pickup element in parallel by a simple, small-sized mechanism by connecting the image pickup element directly to a piezoelectric actuator and to mount a hand-shake preventing mechanism on a digital camera. SOLUTION: One end of a piezoelectric element or a piezoelectric actuator 41 having a displacement enlarging mechanism is connected to a joining member 51. The joining member 51 is further adhered to and held on another piezoelectric actuator 42. The other-end sides of the piezoelectric actuators 41 and 42 are adhered to a fixed part of an image pickup device main body. The piezoelectric actuator 41 and piezoelectric actuator 42 are so arranged that their displacement directions are not identical but both are in an image pickup plane. Consequently, an image pickup element 21 can be displayed in any direction in a single plane. Consequently, the image pickup element can be displaced so that front-rear and right-left hand shakes viewed in an image plane can be prevented. |
