PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker capable of outputting the frequency bands of a tweeter and a ribbon-shaped speaker. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped diaphragm 2 having a C-shaped cross section is arranged on a cylindrical bobbin 3, and the top end of this ring-shaped diaphragm 2 is made into a free end. The speaker using the ring-shaped diaphragm 2 enables reproduction with piston vibrations in a high frequency range and with divided vibrations in an ultrahigh frequency range. Thus, by using such a speaker in place of a tweeter arranged in a three-way speaker system, it is not necessary to use a ribbon-shaped speaker, a matching transformer is not required and it is not necessary to care of speaker arrangement.
